There exist both FREE and PAID competitions - they are treated separately.

Prize for FREE competition is 5.000 HIVE and for PAID 30.000 HIVE
How much does it cost to enter
Price for entering the FREE competition is 0.001 HIVE and for entering PAID 5.000 HIVE.
