RE: The Real Deal With Crypto Kitties

in #crypto7 years ago

Hi,
very nice post, but I need to say that my view of it is different. There are severals things that comes to play.

  1. Average cryptocurrency user accepts much bigger risks than average 'normal' person, so unique kitties as a speculative asset? Why not?
  2. Average cryptocurrency user is Young, even very young. So something like a cute kitty for some virtual money, why not?
  3. Many ethereum users are even younger, Rise of 'Ethereum' 2 years ago was for many of them like a 'golden shot' and now they gets extravagant.
We witnesses it in The DAO event and round of crazy ICO's in june this year.

By the way I agree that this is great tool to loundry some ether across users. But I do not think that main intention of nor users neither authors of CryptoKietties
