The IOTA Foundation can look back on a number of reputable supporters. Bosch and VW are already members of the IOTA Foundation. Dr. Rolf Werner is the newest member and should support IOTA with his many years of professional experience and knowledge.

IOTA announced a few hours ago on his blog that Dr. Rolf Werner joined the IOTA Foundation. He is responsible for Fujitsu's European market and oversees all business activities in the DACH region. He is also a member of the executive board of Fujitsu Technology Solutions GmbH.

Werner looks forward to the upcoming collaboration, sees great potential in the IOTA Tangle technology and is sure that this is far more than just a payment technology between machines:

The possibilities of decentralized and secured applications based on IOTA Tangle as a Distributed Ledger Technology are immense. They go far beyond machine-to-machine payment and include, for example, tamper-proof monitoring of the supply chain and secure identity management, just to name a few. I'm delighted to join the IOTA Foundation Supervisory Council to give you a journey.

Thus, the IOTA Foundation receives further prominent support and gets more expertise in the house to help with the further development of the IOTA ecosystem.

IOTA was already able to convince BOSCH and VW of the potential of the Tangle technology and get both on board.

The IOTA rate shows no response to this news and stands at 0.81 euros at the editorial time, losing 2.11 percent in the last 24 hours.

The corresponding market capitalization is 2.2 billion. This puts IOTA in 10th position in the world's largest cryptocurrencies. Due to the current volatility, it is difficult to say when the price can or will change direction.
