A gaming PC starting from the heavy duty gaming Corsair case shown above, the system is now gutted and inserted into a mining rig case, much simpler and kinda boring but looks cool in it’s own right.
I’ve turned this computer into a decent mining ring for now.... I just purchased and added an RX 580 8gb gpu, which has been fired it up mining ethereum. The rig only has 3 cards but they are Hashing away each day so I have no complains. I was able to get the 580 to an outstanding high of 28mh on Ethermine.com and I am super stoked with the results.
The profits daily is nowhere near the two S9’s but this setup was much much cheaper, possibly more profitable in the short term.
I also have an r9 270x that was in the Corsair case and a new RX560 installed and mining as well. The 560 cost under 200 bucks so it was a easy buy to mine some coins like zcash and possibly some Monero or electroneum.
The rig is stable and runs on a Windows 10 installation on a Radeon SSD, with 16gb of ram and a 750w power supply I should have plenty of room to expand. I think I’m going to continue to add GPUs until all 6 slots plus an add on to the M2 slot will actually make it 7 total. Then replace a few of the older cards and try to crush my ROI ASAP.
I think I’m going after some 1070s next! Plenty of room to spare will all those lonely PCIe slots.
I am currently using the claymore miner for ZCash and Ether but I’m looking for a cheaper alternative. A one time fee might best best, I just don’t like the idea that ever hour I’m paying some guy for a peice of software that would never cost the amount of money he will end of earning over the life of this rig. 2% each hour adds up, and if you don’t agree, well then give me 2% hourly of anything you want and I’ll make out like an F’in king.
Future plans ...well other than the next few GPUs , I’m thinking of running a little Monero off the CPU, it’s watercooled so it could take a pretty heavy load before any performance issues would show. There is just something about the minersgate software I don’t trust. I’ll have to find an alternative...on the other hand it is making me nothing by sitting around.

You are wasting space and electricity using the RX560 to mine. Your casing is too small for the gtx 1070 to fit in, and to top it off the 1070 will be running very hot. These days you need to at least 8 gpus to mine efficiently.
