‘Convenience’ is a relative term and ... can be difficult to achieve at present.

I suggest using Bisq:

  1. exchange XMR for BTC (e.g. inside Bisq)
  2. exchange BTC for fiat cash (there is such an option in Bisq)

Bisq v2, which gives even more options and increases privacy, is currently in beta:
