I've seen a few complaints recently about the fees imposed by swap protocols so here is a bit of a stream of consciousness exploring the topic featuring Defibox and Uniswap with Binance as a centralised contrast.

Yeah I think these DE-FI platforms are great and serve a great purpose but the fees is killing the model for smaller investors, which is why I would like to see other chains DE-FI services start to do better. I have seen TRON and EOS have something similar going but nowhere near as popular as ETH and then loopring is built on a zk rollup and is a little cheaper, I guess its just a sign of where we are now and hopefully with ETH2, fees can come down a bit
