Today I will share more about the Authorship Token (ATS).
Authorship is built on the Etherium Blockchain and aims to create a platform for authors, readers, publishers and translators. You could imagine it as a market place to simplify book publishing and translation as well as procurement processes, by giving the authors authority when they publish a book on this platform.
This implies that the authors do not have to comply with the policies of publishers and all the possible troubles undergone in book publishing. Authorship could be compared in some ways to steemit, you know, like steemit for books, that would allow publishers, writers and readers to interact.
The platform aims to solve the under listed problems faced by authors:
-Getting the book published 
-Distribution of the books
-Awareness 
-Fear of selling
-Dealing with competition 
-Low earnings from published books
-Loss of unsold books
The above and other unlisted/unknown challenges are the gaps that authorship hopes to bridge.
Now let me tell you a bit about the founders of ATS.
The CEO is N. Warfield
and P. Coman 
is the
Chief Development Officer (CDO).
These guys are both IT experts and book lovers. I would say these are nice combinations to come up with something like Authorship. Some insights into their previous works: N. Warfield has publishing industry experience, he is the CEO of SeriousReading.com, an authors’ marketing agency and he is also a co-owner of iReadBooks, a book store while P. Coman is the CDO DotWriter.com, a writers’ agency platform, the CDO of Serious Reading and a co-owner of iReadBooks, a book store. Hard copy books would be sold but transactions will be done using the ATS platform, as seen in the above picture.
They guarantee monthly payment to the first 100K authors that register with the platform. Cool! May be a good platform for authors to get on right away, but hold on sec, just before you leap, there are more things to know.
