Many of us have a big portfolio with crypto coins in it. We hold (HODL!) on to them , waiting for their value to rise. This is a long term investment, not any different from buying a bunch of stocks in the good old stock market.
But investing in crypto should be different. Cryptocurrencies are not stocks, they are...bear with me, currencies.
What does that mean? it means that you should be able to use it like money, like the old Euro or Dollar. But we can't use them. There are just a bunch of website accepting Bitcoins for real goods.
