Hello Moonies!!! Mark Bailey here. I go by @mada on Hive and fixingbrokenrobots on Telegram, where I'm an admin with the role of Moon Man. In the interests of transparency and community, I'd like to share with you my Moondong story so far.
On January 17, I bought into Moondong at a market cap of about $130,000. In the project Telegram I announced my purchase and was invited into various smaller chats as a result. In one of these, I was asked to contribute funds to what I thought was a collective ad buy. I transferred 1 sol, worth about $250, to the specified wallet and was told the next day that these funds had been lost to scammers.
Despite the loss, I became convinced that the project was genuine by a visit with its founders. On January 24, I met Moondong token creator Deep Water at the home of project artist Charlie Seed, who I've known for 30 years. Charlie showed us a big stack of Moondong drawings and confirmed his commitment to the project. Deep told me that he was fully committed to Moondong though he also wanted to pursue other projects. Both reassured me that they intended to continue supporting Moondong regardless of whatever else was going on.
On Jan 25, a key player in the NFT/memespace that I worked with back in my Cryptowriter days estimated that Moondong could be worth $2-4 million. This was higher than my own initial estimate of Moondong's potential and lower than the estimates I was hearing from other people in the project on Telegram.
Based on the visit and the credible estimate, I felt good about leaving my funds in the coin. Meanwhile, the price of Moondong just kept going down and down. So I kept buying more to reduce my average buy price. I ended up acquiring a serious percentage of the total token supply and contributing additional funds to the project at the request of its organizers. At the same time, I became completely engaged with the community and all of the hilarious Moondong memes.
My funds paid for an essential Dextools update and some good social media exposure. I've also written 3 Hive posts and a Substack newsletter about the project so far. And then there's the rap video. The first rap video, I should say. Soon I'd also like to make my scifi novels available for free to Moondong token holders, like I do with my personal token project Rstory.
Moondong is only a few weeks old and I'm convinced it has immense potential. This is the kind of coin that could actually gain a little foothold in the larger blockchain economy. Unlike 50k other memecoins, Moondong could conceivably still be around in 5 years. And I plan to tell absolutely everyone about our crypto gem.
I can't recommend that they buy, of course. I'm not in the business of providing advice. But I can and will inform people that there's a moon with a penis named Moondong out there and that holding the token means you're part of something special. And I've decided to take the lead in creating a culture of clarity and transparency around Moondong.

This lady needs a break from the craziness of the world. Moondong reminds me to not take life so seriously. If we played by the rules of the legacy fiat system, most of us would never stand a chance in a world built on inequity and disparity—one where those in power profit from war and human suffering. But I believe in a better version of humanity. One that starts with finding ways to take money from the legacy system and put it into projects like Moondong, which is honestly so much funnier and more creative than most meme coins out there. All we're doing is having fun, laughing a lot, and sharing art and memes. And I love that we're bringing community and transparency to the world of Memecoin trading, which can feel pretty scammy and weird. Let's make Moondong the #1 Memecoin!

Cyborg Monkey is a lifelong artist. He gave up every comfort of modern life to live as a traveling musician for 3 years! He plays guitar and can fake it pretty good with any stringed instrument. He is also a vocalist that both plays and makes primal Didgeridoos, as well as a professional fire performer who gigs nationwide and runs a fire prop shop named Phoenix Fire Props. He grew up painting with his grandmother who was a professional artist and though he does not pursue that specific creative medium for work he still enjoys doing it for fun in his free time.
Among Cyborg Monkey's many interests, the BIG one is crypto! He has been involved in this landscape for over 10 years and believes that blockchain technology has the power to fix many complex societal problems. Corrupt oligarchs will have a hard time hiding the paper trail of their misdeeds in a society where financial transactions are publicly visible on a decentralized ledger.

Other Info: Deep first got into cryptocurrency around 2011, when he used BTC to buy an item for about $80 usd. He found Doge early by following Elon Musk and has ridden the crypto roller coaster ever since. Deep wanted to invest in small coins with moon potential, but found too many scams, farms, and disposable projects, leaving him with no choice but to manifest the coin he's been looking for. Moondong.
Moondong is as ridiculous as it is reasonable; it is riddled with crude humor that is an undeniable laugh, but powered by the art and drawings of one of his best friends IRL, Chuck Seed. What better mission than to put the talents of your best friend to work in order for each of you to spend your time doing what you love, instead of working for the man? Deep hopes to erect Moondong to such a shadowing height that it provides him the ability to build his own glassblowing studio.
Note: This is Deep's first token project. As a full time glass artist, husband and father, he works on Moondong as time permits, watching a vibrant new community spring up and self organize around the Moondong.
