PS: Circle Internet Financial Ltd. is launching a USD-backed digital token called "USD Coin," the Circle blog reports on Wednesday, September 26.
A consortium called Center, which includes Bitmain Technologies Ltd. among its members, will act as a platform for fixed deposits and conversions for stable cryptocurrencies. Bloomberg notes that although Center is a "fully owned subsidiary of Circle," there are plans in the plan to make it an independent organization.
