Firstly, the numbers: our total value is currently about 2801 STEEM (+3 STEEM), including 2215 STEEM within Steem Engine and a total of 19403 tokens in play. This gives ONECENT an ABV of about 14.44 STEEM cents (0.1444 STEEM), up slightly on yesterday.
ONECENT News
As I have said recently, I think we may continue treading water around the 14.0-14.5 cents level for some days now. Even post income has flattened out. I've estimated a floor on this down-turn and it looks to be about 14.2 cents, so is very much a correction rather than a crash. We seem to be inching our way up.
We continue to mark down some token prices as very few of them seem to be holding onto any support, however, they also still bring in some income, hence a reluctance to just clear them from the accounts. LEO is one exception that is slowly rising, but it takes a lot of effort to balance the obvious sell pressure. Luckily, a large part of our holdings is in other MAP FinTech programs and their effect has been minimal; indeed, some tokens such as MAPR continue to rise in price, albeit slowly, and we still get valuable upvotes.

Exactly! This is what I've been saying about Steem, that users have an account directly with the Steem central bank - whether they use that way, or not, is up to the individual.
