What is PIVX?

in #crypto7 years ago

Hey guys, another crypto article coming your way. Today I will be posting about PIVX. PIVX is an acronym for Private Instant Verification Transaction. PIVX is currently ranked 39th overall in the total crypto market. The price has recently pulled back to the $3.38 range USD. Recently it was slightly above $4 USD. PIVX has very fast block times of 60 seconds and allows users to use instant transactions. Each transaction is verified and confirmed by PIVX Master-nodes. This prevents fraudulent transactions.

An important feature of PIVX to many users is privacy. The PIVX wallet has mixing features that cut the owner from their coins. This prevents other people from knowing how much PIVX or which PIVX you are sending out to someone. On top of that PIVX will be implementing the Zero coin protocol in the near future to further help with privacy. This will make transactions 100% anonymous. Zero knowledge proofs will be part of the Zero coin protocol. Zero knowledge proofs allow transactions to occur with the only public knowledge info being that money was sent or received. People will not be able to see how much was sent and people will not be able to see your wallet balance.

PIVX is Proof of Stake. This means that you can leave your wallet open (but encrypted) to earn new PIVX. The more PIVX that you hold, the more likely you will stake new PIVX. This encourages holding and prevents dumping of PIVX, because you are essentially rewarded by not selling your PIVX. I currently own and stake PIVX and lately I have been getting daily stakes. I am Long PIVX. I feel that once Zero Coin is implemented the price will increase significantly in value (this is my honest opinion, not financial advice).

Well there you have it. Let me know what you think about PIVX. Are you staking, holding, trading, or selling? Thanks for reading and stopping by.

Take care and stay safe out there,
Pete

Great short explanation. I'm a huge PivX fan and am staking all my PivX.

The community is positive, they give frequent updates. It's greatly under valued in my opinion. Peopl will get more familiar with PivX once zero knowledge proof is implemented. :)

Thanks. I feel the same way. Pivx is still holding above $3 USD, even when most cryptos are significantly in the "red." That is a good sign to me, and once money comes back into crypto, I believe Pivx will climb back to the $4 USD range. Long Pivx!

Very very informative and justifiable points u have mentioned in this article dear @pbgreenpoint .....

will it really go higher...would like to know about the future prospect...

Thanks a lot...steem on & stay blissful....

Cryptos seem to be going through a consolidation phase right now. Keep an eye out and you may find some great prices on PIVX.

thanks for telling about Pivx it looks cool

It has some good potential.

Bro how to get traffic on steemit I invested my 3 days to write an article on cryptocurrency by gaining information nd researching on it but i didn't got the response which i was expecting which made me feel inferior bro please let me know how can i promote my post bcoz really I am working hard on them ur advice are valuable to me so please reply as soon as possible

And high quality posts are also no guarantee for high rewards.

Very true. Sometimes a little bit of luck is needed, or you need to get the attention a "whale." Either way, I feel that Steem will continue to grow as more people become aware of the platform, and if you are active now, you will gain momentum and the attraction of other users. That should help you in the long run.

Yaa bro that's what is hurting me a lot 😥😥 my whole hard work went of no use

Unfortunately, hard work doesn't necessarily mean that you will earn a lot. :)

To be honest...Steem isn't going to make you rich quick. You gotta be patient. Keep writing quality articles, and comment on a lot of other people's posts with helpful info. Eventually you will build up a small following. Slow and steady wins the race. Good Luck!

Bro its not about becoming rich or poor I myself wrote article on top 5 cryptocurrency to invest in by going deep into it and researching about them but the response made me feel hurted bcoz it took a lot of hard work to write them

Can you tell me some means through which i contact you so as to know what are the things required nd all facebook or LinkedIn?

I'm not on either one of those anymore. I would say in the beginning don't spend too much time on 1 article. If you have 5 cryptos to speak of, break that down into 5 separate posts. Once you get over 200 followers, then you can start spending more time on thorough posts. Without enough followers, your posts will get lost in the mix.

Okkk friend

I have not invested in it yet, i think nav is better and have transparent team than pivx

NAV has been doing well the last couple of weeks. Diversify. Never put all of your eggs in one basket.

good to know about it very nice info about it :)

Thanks for stopping by.

a good time to buy isn't it looks pretty cool

The price took a little drop, may be a good time to buy. Keep an eye on it.

Thanks @pbgreenpoint, a great primer! I agree with all of your points.

The zero coin protocol is going to be a huge factor in the very near future as users adopt cryptocurrency and as mentioned, privacy will be a major concern.

Do you know if there are any reliable staking reward calculators?

Can small investments, say sub $500, be successfully staked? Is there an optimal holding (other than more the better)?

Thanks for the support! Try this link below to calculate staking rewards vs master node rewards. There is no minimum PIVX requirement for staking, but if too low, it could take a long time. Good luck!

that's very helpful post!!
thank you ;)

Thanks for stopping by.

most welcome..

I'm long PIVX. Privacy popular. It'll go higher again.

Ps - Go Yanks!

It will definitely go higher. Nice consolidation...good time to purchase more. And yes...Go Yanks!

Oh thank god you're not a Mets fan! They like to suffer. I lived in NY from the Mattingly, Pagiarulo days through Jeter's whole career. The 90's, good times!

Ha. Yea, I grew up in Brooklyn my whole life. I remember Mattingly/Winfield, but you're right the 90's were very good for the Yanks!

Very good article. I was about to post a similair thread. The future is in blockchain. Crypto prices might be inflated now but the market will find it's way just like it did with the Internet boom. We do need to look better at the insights of every coin. What team is behind it, is there any management. How strong is the product, is there any product at all? I found this great website: https://www.coincheckup.com This site gives a complete analysis and investment stats on every single tradable crypto out there.
