Japan-based financial offerings company SBI Group and Danish cryptography offerings agency Sepior ApS have partnered to together strengthen a proprietary wallet, according to an announcement posted Oct. 13 The wallet is set to ensure secure transactions on SBI’s cryptocurrencies change platform, VCTRADE.
The SBI Group was once set up in 1999 in Japan as an Internet-based monetary offerings provider. Since then, the enterprise has shaped a economic conglomerate with a center of attention on new technologies, which include fintech, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial Genius (AI), and others. In 2018, SBI reportedly invested over $533 million in the blockchain and AI sectors.
Per the press release, Sepior and SBI have signed an agreement to license Sepior’s Threshold-Sig Wallet Security technological know-how and to at the same time strengthen a proprietary wallet to impenetrable on-line content and transactions on SBI’s digital currencies buying and selling platform, VCTRADE.
With this move, SBI is reportedly searching to set new requirements for crypto exchange security, partly thru the improvement of extra high quality key management and protection.
