RE: So Bitcoin, Etherum or Litecoin....looks like today is the day

Hi Simon, you can download the Coinbase app and from there it is easy to buy Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin. For smaller coins you'll have to transfer from Coinbase to other exchanges, but its a good place to start. In terms of what to buy, you should definitely do your own research and not just go off advice from commenters on the internet, that being said, buying bitcoin while it is low like this cannot hurt

Thanks Renegade. But are there any real differences between the types of coins? Coinbase looks good to use.

I notice all coins seem to be up same amount 16%.

There are major difference between the coins, and although other coins do often follow Bitcoin’s price pattern, it can be dangerous to assume that will always be the case.
You should do your own reading on each coin as they are all different. With ETH being the most different of the lot. Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash are somewhat similar in that they all aim to serve as currency, where as eth is a platform for smart contracts. Again i really reccomend doing your own research on this before investing. It is easy to lose money when you are uninformed.
In terms of places to find info, twitter is great (search $crypto), theres some great books (Cryptoassets), some great podcasts (Crypto Street and Nodes), and lots of other resources out there. It would ne a good idea to read around a little bit before pulling he trigger on an investment.
