In the world today Google is such a household name that the company name has practically become a verb, as in “let me google that” or “I googled it and found out.” In other words the corporation has gone from the drawing board to the board room to the stock market to every living room in the western world, to the conversational English language and thus to the dictionary of household words in quick succession. So Google is as popular as Jesus, as John Lennon once rightly said of the Beatles. We turn to Google for solutions more than we turn to Jesus today.
Another everyday word from the English language has done just the opposite and gone from a household noun in the dictionary, to every living room in the western world, via the stock market, board room and drawing board and even beyond and that word is…Apple. Ironically also as famous as Jesus, thanks not only to Jobs and Cook but also Lennon and McCartney, who ran their own record company called Apple in the 1960s, publishing all the Beatles records on that label long before Jobs took the fruity name as his own.
When we see Google on an Apple iPhone, we accept all that it reveals practically as gospel, or at least as familiar to us in our homes as say the fruit Apple. So when the Google keyboard on the iPhone starts showing the Bitcoin symbol alongside the other top global fiat currency symbols beside the dollar symbol, we know that Crypto has made it to the big league. And that’s with a capital B and two lines down the middle.
It really looks like we have come to a point of acceptance among big tech companies regarding Bitcoin, now that the Millennials are getting into the mainsteam consumer market, because they are leading the way when it comes to product choice as well as Bitcoin adoption. The two have come together harmoniously in the latest iPhone now showing the symbol that sums up Bitcoin in not three letters but one, like L for pound and S for Dollar.
Yes it’s B for Bitcoin unsurprisingly, and not with just one line down the middle – that’s the symbol for Thai Bhat – but two, which almost implies Bitcoin and Thailand belong together mysteriously. But that’s another story coming soon to a Timestamp in the near future. What we have now though is the Bitcoin symbol and logo being set in its rightful place among the top global fiat currency symbols on the keypad of the Google search bar on the iPhone. That is certainly center stage in today’s tech-centric world.

It may seem like a small and insignificant gesture just now but it will have lasting impact on the psyche of the masses, at least those who use the iPhone. Android users will have to wait a bit loinger for their bitcoin logo to appear at their fingertips on the keyboard. But not too much longer, and when that day comes and that symbolic gesture is made, we will see the letter B attain the iconic staus of the letter E- as in email, the letter I as in iPad, and the letter G as in gmail.
So remember that folks, it’s A for Apple, B for Bitcoin and C for Crypto, all the way to I for iPhone, now all in one package, in the hands of almost every Millennial in the first world.
That is quite an accomplishment for our king of crypto and Lord of the blockchain. Behold the Bitcoin, born on the blockchain and now on the iPhone seamlessly incorporated into the mainstream like it was always there.
Even the British Pound must be impressed. In our age of abbreviated text messaging and condensed info, Bitcoin is no longe seven letters long, or even three. It has been refined down to just one, and that one says a lot, perhaps more than all the original seven put together. In the crypto community that is definitely a bullish sign and a positive indicator of the shape of things to come.
Try it next time you use an iPhone.
Hold down the dollar sign and see the options for the other currencies pop up including the B for Bitcoin. Then you too will become a believer, that crypto is here to stay, to save the world from banker oppression and usher in a new era of finance and commerce, not seen since the gold standard. This is hard money at its best, spelled with a B. Be ready, its time has come, at an iPhone near you.
