One of my favorite up-and-coming cryptocurrencies is EOS.IO.
I believe it has the potential to become the next Microsoft. Sure, it is easy to make such claims on the very platform (Steemit) that was created by same founder who is making EOS, Dan Larimer.
Assembled here are some of the latest developments for the EOS team. Here are the updates:
Dawn 3.0 Announced
The 3rd release of EOS.IO was announced by block.one on January 25th.
Major changes in Dawn 3.0 include changing “eos” to “eosio” in all locations throughout the code. The current public TestNet at “https://testnet1.eos.io” will continue to run the Dawn 2.x software until the release of the Dawn 3.0 Testnet, and will then be retired.

Thanks Steemians! Upvote and share please and thank you!!
I have heard so many noises about EOS but yet i am still unable to have a better understanding about this technology. I hope to some your post about this EOSIO.
Yes, lot's of noise so far but no actual product so that is always a tough one. However, EOS does havea world-class team that is well experienced in the crypto space so I have a good feeling that EOS will become successful. It's not hard to see that companies will want to build on the platform for the ability to deploy complex games like World of Warcraft on the blockchain and truly decentralized outside the hands of companies like Blizzard, for example. EOS promises to be the one blockchain programming language to rule them all. We shall see, as it is speculative. I for one, am bullish on EOS.
I am very much interested to learn much about this platform. I hope somebody can guide me to use it for education tool as a means of sharing knowledge and information.
