What are Futures ?
According to investopedia
Futures are financial contracts obligating the buyer to purchase an asset or the seller to sell an asset, such as a physical commodity or a financial instrument, at a predetermined future date and price. Futures contracts detail the quality and quantity of the underlying asset; they are standardized to facilitate trading on a futures exchange. Some futures contracts may call for physical delivery of the asset, while others are settled in cash.
In short Futures are one kind of agreement between Buyer & Seller in which they will trade according to agreed price. These kind of contracts traded on special exchanges which is called Futures Exchanges. In crypto there are some popular exchanges like BitMax, Kraken & Cryptofacilities(There are many but these are some popular exchanges).
There are 2 kind of contracts or potion in future contracts :
- Long
- Short
In Long, you agree to buy specific cryptocurrency in the future at specific price and in Short you agree to sell specific cryptocurrency in the future at specific price.
Now when we Long or Short on these contracts at the end we need to pay transaction fees to these exchanges. Obviously in Futures trading or Normal trading we need to pay transactions fees and it's necessary for them to stay operational, for maintenance etc.
Now if I tell you that there is one amazing Futures exchange which will not take any transaction fees from you - I am not kidding guys it's true "NO TRANSACTION FEES" . If you see above images closely then you will see that it Ranks at 181 at the moment when I am writing this article. There are 1960 Cryptocurrencies listed at the moment on CoinMarketCap and it shows Rank 181. In this short time of period it already achieve pretty amazing milestones. Think what it will achieve in next year and after that.
