Why do we need to decentralize, in order to collaborate globally?

in #crypto7 years ago

Global collaboration is the power of human kind. Through our huge scale collaborations, we are able to produce technologies and products far beyond what one person could create.

How to decentralize productivity?!

Centralized production is still very common among most industries. The idea of centralized production has been a very good one, but that was when communication was only possible over short distances and people had to physically meet-up in order to collaborate.
Nowadays, communication can be done over any distance and in a matter of seconds. Therefore, the old hierarchical structured company with its centralized properties is outdated!
And it is holding us back!

As a pioneer field, the software industry is heading towards an open collaboration. This change in the approach of collaboration already yielded great products like "Linux", "GitHub", "Steemit", and many more.
Certainly there have to be big changes in the way people work and collaborate.

The first problem we have to tackle, is how do we determine the value of any asset given by a person? Secondly, we have to figure out, how to efficiently bring the assets together to create a novel product. And as a last step there has to be some kind of a market, so that the end-user is able to purchase/get the product.

To solve these problems, I suggest to read them from back to front. Thus, first imagine a market where people can buy products. In order to have a functional market there has to be some kind of a currency, and there have to be products that can be bought in exchange for that currency. The currency problem can be solved easily, if we only see the outer problem. But to build a real functional market, at least for me, the whole system has to be a endless loop. Otherwise, we will always run into inflation or deflation issues.

Therefore the currency has to be based on the production of products. Meaning, that the base of the currency is not gold or nonsense (like in most common currencies), but the productive nature of human kind.

Thanks for you time, and have a wonderful day!

best regards Vinc
