Hello, Steemit fans and crypto fans!
Hope you are all having a great day!
I just finished a call with a buddy of mine and we were talking about cryptocurrencies. We discussed among other things: 2 questions. i.e: Is the crypto verse a scam and are we in a bubble.
I know that especially putting up these questions on here will have a lot of opinions. I wanted to do this a bit differently. I wanted to get your opinion on the space and what you think about these 2 questions.
I obviously have seen a lot of scams in the space and I have lost money to scams as well. But that does not imply that the whole crypto verse is a scam. There are obviously amazing projects going on; Steemit being one of them.
As well, with regards to us being in a bubble; well, anything that has this much hype every day will behave at times like a bubble. We do have effects like what we saw in the dot-com bubble. At the end of the day though, unlike TULIP-fest, crypto as a technology has intrinsic value that will last, unlike tulips that die within a day or two. So with respect to crypto being a bubble; it has characteristics of a bubble but the fact that blockchains can't just be destroyed it means that they are here to stay. So my opinion is that it may act as a bubble but it isn't becaus, at its core, there is value.
We have all seen cases of developpers even abandoning coins and the community came together and continued on with the coin: like FORCE.
So anyways, enough about what I think. Chime in and lets have a discussion about this topic. Do you think that the whole cryptoverse is a scam? Do you think we are in a bubble?
I can't wait to read your comments!
