I am new too and I never got anything. It doesn't mean they are fake. They are reputable for the value they create. They said you can send a memo if your article was missed. I have been observing them and I think they are good in their dealings.
They are not very good in their dealing, they are the best on steemit. No other contest can ever beat this and they are also very considerate. You can see the level of participation in their contest. That's because they are simply the best. If you have any complain, send a memo to them and they will respond to you
