Looking At The Crypto Markets, I Just Want To Cry

in #crypto7 years ago

It has been a wild ride the past two months in the crypto world, and everything is in a sea of red right now. After all time highs we are back down to November numbers now. Looking at the market makes me want to cry.

I tear up looking at all the numbers in red.

It is tearing apart my mind trying to figure out which coins I should invest more in. I mean ADA at $.33 cent and Ethereum only $770? It is hard.

Looking at EOS lower than $8 and seeing ANT sitting just above $4 is maddening.

I have the "what do I buy" tears.

The crypto markets have taken a big hit and it is hard to watch sometimes, but perspective is everything. If you are like me and look for the long-term gains in crypto, then this is an amazing time to buy. If you bought some Bitcoin and some TRON trying to get rich, well, maybe it isn't working out for you.

This is such a good time to do research and see what projects have a big release this year and which ones are pushing the blockchain technology further. This crash has really scared a lot of people and it will weed out the people just trying to get rich. I think that is a good thing.

It is better for crypto if the people investing are investing because the believe in the technology and the projects. Getting rid of the speculators will be better for us all. They'll come back when the market hits new all-time highs again, but it will be a little while. Maybe this summer.

Just hang in there and don't get spooked. Buy the coins of the projects you think are going to be great... projects like Steemit. Steem has a proven track record and a functioning platform, it is a good time to stock up on some Steem too!

Things are going to get better and one day in the future, things will really pay off for those that didn't freak out and leave in this crash.

Are you staying or running?

What coins are you buying?

Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for reading.

This is a big test for crypto investors and good opportunity for people that missed the price months ago.
This is a good time to pick good projects and start doing smart investments in real use case projects for the use of cryptocurrencies and blockchain because we will see a more smarter market because people lose alot of money in shitcoins.
Keep up the good work

I think you are 100% right. What are some of those coins you like? I'm a fan of XLM, ANT, EOS, ADA and of course... STEEM

Right now im trying to consolidate my portfolio and dont have too much diversification, i like OMG, KNC, ICX, ETH, VT, NEO and STEEM :D

I'm just jumping in the waters now. Enjoying reading your posts and learning. I'm still trying to figure out steemit as well as the different crypto currencies. For now, I'm holding on to my paper money as I learn how this all works. But I plan to make some investments soon.

The reason it brings me to tears is because the currency I use to buy crypto, SBD, is down more than almost anything else, so it's almost not worth spending it. I don't make money in fiat dollars, so this downturn is absolutely crushing.

If I had fiat to spend, I'd buy pretty much everything right now, but I like Litecoin, Steem and EOS as far as the bigger stuff goes. I'm ready for the bleeding to stop though.

If i were to buy, what would you suggest..
I have very limited knowledge regarding this

Hi, it depends on where you live to be honest. I just know the US rules. I go to...
https://www.coinbase.com/join/592c5333387e28396a8f531e
and then buy and send to bittrex to buy other coins or to my wallet. Before you buy though, spend some time learning the game and use your SBD to buy some coins on Bittrex or something. Get to know how things work before just throwing money at it. I am sure these prices are not the lowest we'll see before the market goes back up so now is a great time to learn. You also got a new follower. Let me know if you have any questions.

@Rjunaid12 take that advice. These are the coins I have but I'm not a financial advisor. I hold Ripple, Litecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash. But For you I would recommend NEO at this price. It is one of the few crypto if not the only that pays you a dividend. For example you get some GAS for owning NEO.

I'll see about that..
I think waiting and learning is the way to go for me

Thanks for the follow..
I'm thinking of doing that.
But the decline is really scary.
And I have zero knowledge about this.
I've started learning about this a few days ago when a friend introduced me to steemit.
Guess I'll have to learn faster.

don't buy learn some while
I recommend Ivan on tech
or @ivanli
and then buy

Ok.. I'm following him
Will try to learn

HODL OR DUPM THAT IS THE ANSWER
?¿

Bubble bursts, and now only wait 1 month - 10 years((

I sold my portfolio last month and put it all in steem, I am a huge believer in this platform, I personally not even worried bout other coins as this is my main one!

I just picked up some ETH and LTC on a huge discount! I can see ETH hitting $3k by the end of the year and LTC hitting $500. What do you think?

I had just stumbled upon localbitcoins to buy bitcoins. Just my first SGD 50 of bitcoins and convert to STEEM. I will buy STEEM in the long run. Upvoted!
