Currently, there is only one thing we can be sure of – that Christmas brings people together. It is the time of the year when you meet your cousins, aunts and uncles and you all end up sitting around the Christmas table thinking of conversation topics.
Think about this. What is the one topic that at least one family member is likely to be very excited about this year? Of course – the cryptocurrencies. I bet that in many families around the world, there will be at least one person at the Christmas table whose favourite conversation topic will be: “You won’t believe how much money I made this year with cryptocurrencies! You’re missing out!”
I think that Christmas will be the time when families will finally discuss this topic at length. And if your not so smart cousin has made a ton of money this year with this cryptocurrency thing, maybe it is something worth giving a try? Just for the sake of trying it, of course. Which is exactly how we all get hooked.
I am sure that the Christmas Eve conversations will leave many intrigued about the experiences and discussions that they have heard, and the majority will finally ask the cousin: “OK, so how do I buy Btcoin? Or, did you say, Bitcoin Cash?”
I expect that Christmas will consolidate the bits of information that the average person has seen in the news and add the missing push – a lengthy discussion with trusted people about their (most likely positive) experiences with this new phenomena. Add a bit of that Christmas miracle feeling and aspirations for the New Year, and you have the perfect formula that converts sceptics into crypto newbies.
The herd is coming!
