Buy and hold or flipping coins?

Hi there steemit-people! I'm just a newby in the wonder world of cryptocurrencies. Just trying to boost my knowledge about bitcoin, altcoins, tokens and what even more. It's hard to keep up. Since a few months ago I started speculating by buying, what else, ether. Everybody knows the story. By all means it went to the moon and now we don't even know which planet it wil be heading too.

Long story short. It started as speculating but now it more feels like investing. I'm still a newby. But hey, blockchain it's the new kid on the block. And one way or around it's gonna be BIG! I'm definite a believer.

BUT off course I wanted more. So I discovered and explored the exchanges. I went from ether, to litecoin, to steem, to BAT, to Zcash etc. I made a solid return on investment. Looking back to that I wonder if I kept all my 'money' in ether what difference it would have made.

My question to the more experienced traders and investors? Tell me your strategies. BUY AND HOLD of FLIPPING COINS.
