Whew, it's been a crazy few days. NEO was in my grasp only a few days ago, then it took off into the stratosphere and I probably should just buy it at whatever price, but it so goes against the grain with me to buy something that has just quadrupled that I can't bring myself to do it. I am sure I will regret this. There may never be a "dip."
So I thought (like many people unfortunately) I'd get sneaky and go buy GAS, which is after all the coin that was Antcoin, while NEO is the share that was Antshares. I.e., GAS is the actual transactional coin here that you should be buying. So like many people I figured out that outside of China you can only buy GAS on Binance (and that just started maybe 3 days ago? So after a bit of trouble with the CAPTCHA I managed to register on Binance, only to see that GAS is now over $25! Yesterday it was below $8. It's NEO all over again. Now I just don't know. I am not a chaser. I joke that I am "A Child of the Great Depression" (which I'm not - grew up in the 1970s), but I act like one. I can be penny wise and pound foolish. And stubborn. And in this case probably irrational. GAS and NEO may never come back to earth. But I just can't pull the trigger.
OMG! Me too! I've been talking about Antshares since June and i wanted to buy it then, but there were other pressing matters so it seemed; and since it takes 7 days to transfer money to Coinbase and credit cards have a $500 weekly limit, it took until this past TUESDAY to finally have money ready to buy NEO. I'm bummed about it too and refuse to buy at this price, it should subside a bit, which it has already today.
It was touching $30 earlier and dropped to $25. I could buy a little now, but I see it going to low 20's MAYBE high teens. We won't see the $6 it was 10 days ago ever again though.... ruined my long-term plan!
UGH same here! How the hell did everything get away so quickly?? I really misplayed everything. Bitcoin, NEO, OMG, GAS. I know what you mean about Coinbase. Drives me nuts! And I was waiting for some stock sales to clear and then had to transfer to another bank account to use Coinbase.
Oh well, there will be more opportunities. We'll get faster each time and eventually we'll be on stuff at $.004 that ends up going to $20!
I have no idea... I also know your pain, I have to sell stocks in TDameritrade, then transfer to bank, then to Coinbase. Takes 8 days at the fastest. In the crypto world, 8 days is long enough to completely miss an opportunity as we see here...
But yeah, there will be another one, all we need is 1 good one! Speaking of. I think XRP (Ripple) and Siacoin (SC) are good choices out of the bunch in the top 25 from Coinmarket. I try to look for companies that actually have a product and a product that people are successfully using. I have no real idea why they're so cheap, but I know for a fact XRP won't stay this way. Both are under .20!
Agree, especially on Ripple. But I see that as a long term hold. I suppose it could take off like a rocket at any time, as could any coin.
