Great post! I have also noticed that nearly everyone I talk to about crypto who only has a cursory understanding will often compare it to gambling. This, as you wrote about, clearly is not the case. Of course, throwing $1,000 into some random altcoin isn't likely going to get you far, but with some planning and research it is not farfetched to hear of people making impressive returns on investment. Be wary of people looking to scam you, but on the whole I would have to agree that the community and market are as strong as ever. Thanks for the great post!

You make a good point. I thank God that I discovered cryptocurrencies. I think the biggest frustration is when you're trying to tell someone you care about and they just don't understand. I also find it funny that the people that compare it to gambling, are more than willing to buy a lottery ticket. Lol
