RE: Name YOUR decentralized social network?

I think we’ve decided on the reverse ∃ for both the currency symbol and ticker symbol, with m∃ and n∃ for smaller units (to avoid decimal, fractional quantities) and quanta for the smallest (aka epsilon) unit analogous to Bitcoin’s satoshis.

That seems to make sense. I like the symbol; it's simple, memorable and unique. Maybe incorporate too into any future R∃ALMS logo for continuity?

The three most positive reactions I have to your current list (accepting Realms as a given) of dApps portal names and blockchain technology oriented names, noting the individual dApps portal names and blockchain technology oriented names are Tensor, Lightning and WoT.

Tensor grabbed me for some unaccountable reason, as I don't relate it to anything - though have just discovered its mathematical relevance. It stood out. I find it attractive, intriguing and approachable, if that makes sense.

I almost included Affinity, but I think it is perhaps a little bland; I'm not sure. Also four syllables as you say. And Rails has some appeal for me too.

No cryptocurrency project is named Lightning. There’s Lightning Bitcoin and Lightning Networks.

I dismissed Lightning at first but it's growing on me. Seems an obvious contender now.

WoT though I really do like, and think that is probably the "one" (yes, yet another!).

I added the name idea WoT. Web-of-Trust is a decentralized database of relative trust where each participant keeps their own record of for example: whose reliability, which websites, or which public keys to trust.

In addition to the above, trust seems a quality in great demand at the moment, in many spheres, so is likely to draw wide appeal I reckon. In addition to that, it's catchy, concise, kind of implies protection and enquiry ("what")... and is sort of friendly-looking somehow.

Reading the question text to your daughter, it struck me Affinity of Trust (AoT) itself might be another possible? Though perhaps doesn't have the flow to it of Web of Trust.

Yes, everyone loves the Matrix!

I don’t prefer the portmanteaus which are a non-interleaved, juxtaposition of two words such as Blocring because there’s so many permutations of them that they’re not unique nor brandable (e.g. Blockstack, Dynaring, etc).

Yes, I'm with you there.

One thought. Had you considered Myriad as a name option, as an alternative to Manifold perhaps? Defined by Merriam-Webster as both numerous and diverse / having inumerable aspects or elements.

Refer to my novel consensus innovation

I've read it twice now. A bit more goes in each time, but alot still going over my head. It all goes to a growing understanding of the project's concepts though.
