Hi! In this tutorial I'm gonna show you how you can mine cryptocurrencies using your Arduino (or compatible) board.
23.09.2019 update: some things in this tutorial have aren't current anymore, but you should still be able to easily mine duco with your Arduino.
Step 1: Download duino-coin miner and wallet
Visit https://github.com/revoxhere/duino-coin/releases to download latest release of duino-coin. Detailed walkthrough of this process can be found at the duino-coin wiki (https://github.com/revoxhere/duino-coin/wiki).
Step 2: Upload code to Arduino
Upload Arduino code provided with the release to your Arduino. If you need help with that, you can check the wiki page.
Step 3: Run the miner
Open "Miner.exe" (if you've chosen Windows release). Miner will search for available ports and list them. Select COM port of your Arduino and press enter.
Again, if you need more detailed help visit duino-coin wiki.
Step 4: Register
Submit your username, password and confirm password.
If registration is successful, you can restart the program and login.
Step 5: Mine!
After restarting, select COM port and login. Miner will automatically send connect to the pool and start mining!
Step 6: Check your earnings
To check your earnings, login to "Wallet.exe". There you will be able to not only check your account balance, but also send funds to another person.
And that's it! I hope you enjoyed this brief tutorial. Btw this is my first post on steemit!
LOL... are you serious? I might have to give this a try...
