I totally agree it is better as it has already got the i2p integrated where as money doesn't have it at the moment if they get it integrated soon then monero would be better I think.

Exactly, right now XVG is superior to Monero in terms of anonymity.
The truth is a little bit different. Monero is anonymous while Verge is only optionally anonymous and it is considered the privacy focused version of Dogecoin https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/6813/what-is-the-difference-between-monero-xmr-and-verge-xvg. Also Monero can be use with TOR network even if it requires some configuration https://github.com/monero-project/monero.
The only advantage of Verge over Monero is the transaction fee of 0.1 XVG that are about 0.02 $ while for Monero about 10 $. Monero reaches 1000 tps while Verge only up to 100 tps.
Wow, dogecoin and verge are nothing alike. you ever download projects from github and go through bitcoin, litecoin , monero, pivx, verge , dogecoin and many more? i'm a lead developer - and you do not know what you are even talking about. dogecoin was some old code and it is nothing like it. use beyond compare or winmerge etc... and look through the code for both dogecoin and verge.
Are you sure? People say that the truth is different http://cryptocoin.cc/table.php?cryptocoin=verge
However, I do not mind about the fork, but about the quality of the projects.
