I've joined Steemit after reading this "Steemit is a social network that looks and functions a lot like Reddit, but with one HUGE difference: Steemit pays both the content creators when their work gets upvoted, as well as the people who curate the best content on the site by upvoting others work"
That was written as an answer for someone asked what's Steemit on Quora.com
I was quite excited to join and really liked the idea (even while I don't know too much about it). But since then, I couldn't find the Version of Reddit that pays the content creators and followers. Only found it as CryptoCurrency forum that pays both the experts in this field and the followers for their contributions. And nothing of the Reddit Huge-wide verity stories
The most trending, high values and top reactions are always for Bitcoins topics only, and some art stories to be totally honest.
Totally understandable that this is NOT
I understand where you are coming from ideally Steemit gets updated with a subreddit-like system. I think a big part of this though is the fact that steemit doesn't look as nice and isn't as well known.
minutes ago I found someone posting a job Ad, nice thing i see. but what if this job Ad is just a fake story so people start comments and upvote with their interest to be hired for these positions. it could turns into all kinds of viral social media posts on facebook or twitter, but here instead you got yourself likes and followers you can make some cash... eventually the model of people help to filter the good from the bad stories would be invalid
