Imagine a poor African farmer exploring this new field he just acquired at a price cheaper than expected only to find them filled with large shiny stones. He immediately gets annoyed that he’s been ripped off and sets to work clearing his field to get rid of these stones and pushes them off to a part of the field. A white man stumbles upon this pile of stones and finds them out to be diamonds. Pure, uncut diamonds. He immediately offers a very high price to the poor farmer who gladly sells it off to the foreigner while thanking his stars for his immense luck.

Why did I start off with this story? A lot of us are actually like the farmer and we don’t even know. We wake up every day with stuff around us that we could be using to earn some income and yet we are either ignorant about how to harness them or just don’t have the right resources to and hence, miss out on a whole lot of diamonds – sorry I meant cash.

An example of this is the over 2 billion users of personal computers and the over 800,000 owners of private servers scattered all over the world that have just been offered a platform known as the DEEP CLOUD with which their unused computing resources (free storage space and computing power) could bring them a steady and very lucrative source of income that in n way interferes with what they do on a daily basis on their computers as they themselves choose the number of free resources they wish to offer for “rent”.

WHY USE DECENTRALISED CLOUD COMPUTING?

Cloud computing is the technology that allows us to save essential items in an offsite that is accessible from anywhere we may be. This could come in the form of a public cloud that serves any member of the public that is willing to access it (and/or pay), private clouds which are owned by and restricted to big firms and organizations that produce a large amount of data and need constant access to them.

Ever since cloud computing came into existence it has been, just like every other groundbreaking, and problem-solving technology before it (e.g. the internet, jet engines, Android phones, space ships, etc.), welcomed widely with massive adoption all over the world and immense investment into this new line of profit making. And it has not disappointed with such companies as Amazon bringing in $25.7 billion link of their income from their cloud computing service alone in 2018 and with the total revenue from cloud computing services expected to reach $383 billion by 2020 link. However, the most important aspect of all this to me is the amount of money spent on research to try to make it better. With Microsoft spending as much as 90 percent of its $9.6 billion link on its cloud computing service R&D. This shows that there is recognition of the need to better this technology and in the process solve more challenges with it (take an example, the constant upgrade of smartphones to meet more needs).
Fortunately, as we all know it is better to work smarter than harder and DEEP CLOUD has set out to achieve this in the cloud computing sector by trying to harness the huge untapped resources present in a world of over 55 million workers who collectively earned $1 trillion in 2016 that solely work from home and earn their income thereof. This platform not only takes full advantage of this immensely powerful and gargantuan and most impressively, an ever-expanding pool of resources that could be gathered thereof to create a cloud computing service that serves clients all over the globe by providing them with the right amount of needed storage space or computing power they may need but also:

REDUCES COST AND PAINS: creates a very reliable network of service providers at a fraction of the cost needed traditionally as no costly and cumbersome giant server rooms are needed which not only have limited scalability and therefore not suitable for use by decentralized applications (dApps) but are also sometimes subject to failures resulting from overload or security concerns. These could, no matter how short-lived, affect the very large amount of users of that service all over the world that needs the constant presence of their dependent platforms or that are hindered from accessing very time crucial information they have stored on such servers. Apart from the much anticipated general customer dissatisfaction as a result of these failures, business platforms, marketing agencies, television, and media outlets relying on these services could suffer from a huge loss of money and/or other essential resources that may or may not be tampered with during the service provider’s downtime.
Companies that have essential files or run their apps on these centralized platforms not only lose out financially but also suffer from less productivity from their employees.
Everyday users of these platforms are not left out as their files, personal and otherwise, could be momentarily vulnerable to elements that may use them for nefarious activities. with a decentralized cloud computing services like DEEP CLOUD, however, the clients are almost immune to these possible losses of access to their files and apps as they get could choose from the huge and ever-expanding number of service providers and could specify the location, capacity and other specifications they may want the potential service provider to possess while the DEEP CLOUD network automatically assigns the service provider that is sure to provide the optimal service for the client.
With this, much less amount of clients will be dependent on a single service provider and this reduces the very powerful and devastating ripple effect of a service provider downtime to the barest minimum.

REDUCES HUMAN INTERFERENCE: These resources also require very little human supervision and interventions to keep them running as no technicians are needed to maintain the servers or support staff that could control the allocation process needed or managers to ensure the smooth running of the server room. These are not needed and are done individually by the service providers that contribute to the network while the allocation of resources to the right client is done by the use of artificial intelligence (“the controller”), housed in master nodes, which ensures maximum efficiency by assigning only the most suitable resources to the client in question while doing so with minimal errors and total immunity from “overload” due to the heavy computing power needed for this to be done by analyzing the network in real time before any task is carried out.

A CLOSER LOOK AT “THE CONTROLLER”

The AI in use on the network has the advantage of not only being reactive to the real-time happenings of the network by choosing what actions best suite those happenings at the moment and the best course of actions with which to react to them but also predicts, using deep learning algorithms like RNN and also reinforcement learning the possible happenstances of the network due to previous data garnered from it about the past history of the service providers (how well they have been performing over time) and the best courses of actions to also undertake in such instances.

This predictive capability is not only important in that tries to optimize the network’s functionality and effectively assigning tasks but also, in my opinion, will serve to address future problems that we are not yet familiar with in the present. The very essence of artificial intelligence technology is to give the computer a thinking brain where it can discern and interpret data it is being fed with and use its wits and knowledge gathered and respond not just in a particular set of ways it had been previously ordered to but also in new ways it deems fit to do the task at hand.

An example of this is telling the maid to always mop the floor in the kitchen whenever there’s a spill, recognizing that the mopping is to ensure the neatness of the kitchen floor, the maid will not only stop at mopping the floor but also try to take out and empty any cups with partially consumed beverages on the kitchen counter or remove buckets filled with water from all possible paths that could result in their spilling their contents on the floor.

Therefore, not only are all the service providers (my very self, inclusive) contributing to a world with safer, less resource consuming and much cheaper cloud computing service but also setting the stage for the technology of the future to develop on by providing truly scalable data bank, optimum processing power for the smooth running of dApps, minimized communication problems between client and service provider (by efficiently bringing them closer than ever), pushing for the faster creation of more dApps and IOT apps that are aimed at pushing the boundaries of technology as we know it while providing solutions to certain daunting human challenges. all these are done while taking advantage of the blockchain technology to provide the needed trust and security to transactions while making them as cost-effective as can be. However, looking at the nature of the transactions they are going to be handling on the platform (their sometimes small nature but large number), the DEEP CLOUD team is adopting the use of a blockchain that speeds up the confirmation of transactions no matter their size.

HOW TO BECOME A SERVICE PROVIDER?

Apart from being a very lucrative means of generating side income, to become a service provider is fairly simple as all one has to do is visit the following link and check out the needed specs for the system one wants to join the network with, if qualified, go back to the platform site at link and download the HURON NETWORK for windows and Linux operating system and then run them for the specified length of time while assigning the resources one is comfortable giving out.

CONCLUSION

Witnessing the fanfare and welcome party that was greeted the cloud computing idea and the massive revenue it currently generates and is projected to generate in the future, I think it is safe to say that with a platform that provides a cloud computing service that solves the problems of the present ones in a smart and truly efficient way, humanity has struck yet another field filled with diamonds.
So ask yourself this, “What is my free storage space doing for me?” If it is not making you part of the force that’s set to bring the next generation of solutions to the world while making cool cash then, as I’ve said, You are missing out!
