New AltCoin can be mined with CPU - Easy!

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Hi Steemains.

Yesterday I found a very interesting AltCoin which is changing its worth very drasticlly (Up and Down).

The coin called YTN (YenTen)

I'm posting here some info about it and i'll add the way to Mine it (With CPU Only)

So,

Yenten is a cryptocurrency of the cpu, by the cpu, for the cpu.
No ASIC mineable.

The website to get the Wallet is:
https://conan-equal-newone.github.io/yenten/

You'll see this page:
Warning!!

Yenten is only for 21y or older man.

Girls, kids, plz get out now.

When you open this page you shuld click on "Yenten"

You have 3 Pools available for it (you can also use solo mining but you'll get a Block once for 2-3 days so its not reccomanded.

The pools are:
https://www.bilbotel.fr by Nillecram
https://crypto.n-engine.com by naskel
https://antminepool.com by AntMinel

I'm Using https://crypto.n-engine.com because it is more stable then the others.

Now' For the miners and the Configuration

  1. Download the Miners from Here
  2. Unzip the file to a folder
Set Antivirus to except the miner folder
  3. Open Command promt or create a BATCH FILE set directory to extracted folder
  4. Set miner as below:
    for bilbotel pool - cpuminer-aes-sse42 -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bilbotel.fr:6234 -u YourYTNaddress -
    for antminepool - cpuminer-aes-sse42 -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://antminepool.com:6234 -u YourYTNaddress
    for crypto.n-engine - cpuminer-aes-sse42 -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://crypto.n-engine.com:6233 -u YourYTNaddress

Now, You can set the YTN Adrdress from the wallet you can download from Yenten ewbsite as i wrote above and you can use the Address from the Exchange (The only Exchange that support this altcoin today meanwhile)

The Exchange website is:
https://coinsmarkets.com/

Now, All you have to do is.... Start mining as soon as possible before the Diff will raise :)

Good luck everyone :)

Best Wishes
Adi

nice article ;)

Antimine Pool Handsome and big mining pool

Yep, but i preffer the crypto.n-engine
It is more stable.

Is this safe and paying....

Of course
I'm not posting things that i didnt check before :)

good info friend, success for you.

nice post sir

Nice one. Any help on setting this up with linux based ones?

Is crypto.n-engine.com trustworthy? I saw someone complaining in their chat that there have been no payments for days, but not sure if I should trust chatboxes.

Nice post.

Could you help me about cpu miner (or the other ways how can i mine at a pool)? I don't know anything about it and i can't download your link because of virus. (I know it's not a virus, but google doesn't allow me anyway.)

I managed to download it somehow. New problem is, how to make configurations? could you explain it like explaining to your grandfather :)

I think it's working :)

Did you get any payments yet? I mined for 5 days, got 0.

This is as close as I have come to getting it to work on my main machine:

I think I may have figured out the problem... Can this be mined with a quad core AMD Athlon II? I found some posts in Russian describing it but the translations aren't always 100% clear.

Were you able to get this sorted out? I am not sure if getting a different source would help. Maybe you can try this link.

https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/releases/tag/1.1.0

I cannot find the wallet, anyone has suggestion for which one is compitble?

uh.. well what OS are you running? Maybe you can download one from this link.
https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/releases

You need to download the Yenten Core and not the miner. It would say something like

yenten_ubuntu64 or yenten_win32 or yenten_win64

Downloading an running the wallet was no Problem but I am not able to download the miner from google-driver link!
Google says:
Sorry, this file is infected with a virus
Only the owner is allowed to download infected files.

The miner is the same as the one from the ZCore Thead. Works nice and it looks like it is a more recent Had to add exception to windows malware removal.
Virustotal say it is no virus but miner-software.
