There's probably deeper reasons other than what this article is going to talk about but why would Apple do this? Why won't Apple do this?
Are they banning cryptocurrency apps because mining apps are stupid to be use it on the phone because it's probably burn out your hardware and probably not even that profitable or is there the chance that those mining softwares are actually mining Monero from your iPhone without your knowledge and giving you viruses? Or is it because Apple is banning cryptocurrency apps from the App Store because Apple is going to invariably create their own Apple Coin?

This article talking of the damage caused by the mining process may not be even covered by the device's warranty, some people think that anything that happens to your Apple iPhone is not covered by warranty and that's how they get you to buy new Apple iPhones and it has been proven that Apple does dump down their iPhones after they come out with a new release of hardware making your last generation technology even worse, why do they do that? Why are they allowed to do that?
Why are you trying to police us? If people want to mine cryptocurrency on iPhones and break their iPhone, they have every right to do so, allow people to do whatever they want in this regard. If they want to ruin their phones mining cryptocurrency just let them do it.
Is this really consumer protection? Or is this something even more sinister involved? Or they are trying to shut things slowly down so that they can make their own Apple Coin?

Whatever reasons they might have, this just hurts the market even further, at least temporarily. I'm tired of traditional corporations having this effect on us... The world needs to get more decentralized much quicker.
