1."ETH"-Consulting Firm Predicts Ethereum Could Reach $2,500 By The End Of 2018’;
Independent financial consulting company deVere Group, which provides investment and wealth management services, has predicted that the price of Ethereum (ETH) could hit $2,500 by the end of the year, MarketWatch reported April 27. The financial consultancy firm said that the second largest cryptocurrency could see a significant rise, predicting its fourfold increase thanks to growing adoption of the digital currency as well as the use of smart contracts.

Premier and Minister of Finance of Bermuda David Burt signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Binance Group on Friday, Bernews reports April 27. The MOU establishes funding for educational programs related to fintech and blockchain startups. Burt signed the MOU with Changpeng Zhao, founder and CEO of the world’s world’s world’s second largest cryptocurrency exchange by market capitalization. Burt said that Binance’s goals “align with [their] aims and objectives to provide a leading well-regulated jurisdiction ideally suited to the growth of the fintech industry.”
3."40 Trln"-Crypto Market Hitting $40 Trln In 10 Years “Definitely Possible”, Says Pantera Capital CEO;
Dan Morehead, CEO of Pantera Capital, a $1 bln cryptocurrency hedge fund, said that the crypto market could hit “$40 trln" within ten years, in an interview for Bloomberg Television April 26. The hedge fund’s first Bitcoin-only fund returned over 25,000 percent when the cryptocurrency hit its $20,000 peak in December 2017. The fund is “very bullish” on the crypto space and and is set up as a long-short fund, believing that current values are at “an order of magnitude or two below the real, fundamental fair value of Blockchain”
Morehead pointed to last year’s listing of crypto futures on CBOE and CME as being one way to potentially go short with crypto asset investments as the market matures. Yet he struck a positive tone, estimating that Wall Street’s growing interest in clearing crypto trades will lead to “a vibrant crypto-borrow market within twelve months.”
