With a surge of new investors and increasing Main stream media attention, 2017 was a very successful year for Crypto currencies.
Lets have a look at some of the best performing Coins from the start of 2017 until now.
- At its highest point, Ripple shot up to 36,000% to become the best performer
- Ethereum up 9000%
- Bitcoin up 1300%
- NEM up 29,842%
- Dash up 9265%
- Litecoin up 5046%
- Stellar Lumens up 14,441%
At the start of 2017 the entire market cap for all crypto currencies was about 18 Billion USD, at the end of 2017 it had reached over 610 Billion USD and it has grown even more.
Mainstream adoption is still low and compared to other technologies, Blockchain is still in its early stages.
Below i will list 4 Crypto currencies that i think will perform very well both in terms of gains, and technological achievements. They are in no specific order.
VeChain/VEN
At the time of this post, VEN has a total supply of 867,162,633, and a circulating supply of 277,162,633

This gas news makes me quite bullish, we have seen what happened with NEO and its GAS price currently around $50, considering VeChain has a higher circulating supply we may not see that price, but 10-20$ is not out of the question.

VEN entered the market at around 20 Cents and is currently at over $4.60 but is currently being suppressed by large sell walls that seem to be their for whales to accumulate more before the re branding. I suggest buying some before the books clear at re branding to avoid buying at a increased price.

Everyone should know about Ethereum, if you dont then do yourself a favor and do some research because it is number 2 behind Bitcoin, but unlike bitcoin it is capable of alot more.
we have recently seen ethereum pass $1300 USD as most of the other Alt coins dip. It has proven to be a great investment and with future upgrades it will only increase in value.
I wont go on about Ethereum because it is common knowledge in this scene, so onto the next one !

Total supply of 400,230,000 and a circulating supply of 378,545,005
According to Icon, a Korean company dubbed ' Korea's Ethereum ' they want to “ Hyperconnect the World ” by building one of the largest decentralized networks in the world.
To do this, the ICON team is building a massive platform that will allow various blockchains to interact with each other via smart contracts. Existing within what developers brand the ICON Republic, communities will connect with each other using ICON’s loopchain technology. ICON’s end game is to provide a platform where players from financial, security, insurance, healthcare, educational, and commerce industries and beyond can coexist and transact on a single network.
Main Net launch is on the 24th of January, it is a big milestone/launch and i expect it to see a nice gain from that.
Icon is currently sitting at number 15 in the market cap with a price of around $11 after opening trading in October at 40 cents. My advice is to Get in before the Main net launch

You got my follow, great read. I am also very bullish on Vechain I like the project and a strong team. Never heard of Icon, then I checked.. it was on rank 15 whaha never saw it. Seen the page maybe a 1000 times.
Ethereum is going to have a great 2018 aswell with all their projects coming. Power Ledger also nice.
I guess.. almost all of the blockchain tech is nice haha.
