Recently, i have found this post on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976133.0, regarding a cryptocurrency called SocialCoin. The developer claim that they are a cryptocurrency specifically aimed at the Social Media industry. Their website is http://www.social-coin.co.uk/.
Their approch is based on providing payments for reviews, views, likes and content online, aiming to bring cryptocurrencies to the masses. According to the developer, "Whenever you post something online, be it an Amazon review, TripAdvisor comment or insight, Trivago opinion, or merely a YouTube or Facebook comment, include your wallet address and state it's your SocialCoin wallet. Then sit back and watch the coins roll in".
SOCC (the coin name of SocialCoin), is listed in this exchange https://yobit.net/ , and others are being considered, according to the developer post at bitcointalk.
Some people may wonder, what is the difference between SocialCoin and steemit? When asked about this, the developer answered shortly: "Steemit is focussed on their platform. This is across social media and review platforms".
I have decided to give it a try, and i have already earned some coins and traded them at the youbit exchange. So far, everything went well. So, what do you think about this? I am looking forward to see your comments.

Nice analysis. I have beem watching the performance of steem on bittrex, it have been traded with considerable volume. This is very good. It shows that people are very interested in this kind of approach.
