As a day trader, the long-term buy has pros and cons but the biggest con of all being you won't see growth overnight. However, over time, you could see huge gains while you sit on the couch and crack brewskis with the home boys.
With a wide variety of coins to choose from the question becomes, what coins hold true consumer value that will stand the test of time???
I know of a few some obvious / some less obvious coins that I personally think harbor huge long term potential.
Numero A. XPR - Ripple.
An obvious and distinguished winner. I say buy now while the price is relatively low. At only 0.04 cents!!! This coin is an A++ and I know of D-- coins that trade at dollar values.
This coin has real life benefits. The third largest bank IN THE WORLD just adopted Ripple alongside Bank of America, UBS and other high-profile banks. And it only makes sense because banks WANT TO SAVE MONEY, that's their JOB!!!
In my mind it's only a matter of time before they all use Ripple because who doesn't want to save time and money while being more secure?
It's a no brainer.
Letter 2. Golem -
Golem is a lesser known coin but also withholds extraordinary capabilities.
From job searching in video games I once applied to a company called gaikai. This company is the future of video games where instead of purchasing a console to play, the games will be pre-rendered and sent to your TV in a netflix type scenario.
So this is where the future is heading - prerendered games / outsourced processing etc. You will no longer need to buy
a supercomputer in order to harness it's capabilities.. you will simply need to rent one.
THATS WHERE GOLEM COMES IN.

There you have it, and that's why I think this coin has true value and potential. Also At a price I think is cheap comparted to what it will be, but maybe wait until it drops below .60 cents again IF IT DOES!!!
C. Litecoin.
This is a test to see if you are actually reading! This one has no description, but I do see the potential of litecoin. I would hopefully try to get it on a down day where it's slighly cheaper than it is right now.
Symbol D. Synereo AMP -
Hype surrounded the revealing of their latest platform and we will only know how awesome it is when we are able to test it in June. This we know.
I only invested in this COINS ICO because I was young and naive but also because I could clearly see the VALUE of this company.
I was very impressed by the release if you didn't read my last post.
BUT the biggest reason why I list AMP here I because right now, (Wednesday @ 3:16 pm) the price of AMP is 0.097 cents.
VERY CHEAP to what I think the potential of this coin could be. It may not be overnight but if the platform is a success in June. Expect the price to jump or creep higher and higher. The cheaper the coin the more potential gains baby.
Only time will tell.
Roman Numeral E. Singular DTV.
A tad of a gamble on this one but the price of singles has been steadily creeping up and up due to the release date of their pilot series "Singular" on June 9, 2017.
After raising about 4 million dollars during the ICO I would hope this show is pretty darn good with that kind of cash.
They map out the plot on there website, and it does look pretty awesome. I'm very curious to watch it myself and will probably pay for the first episode. I like this system of suspense because it forces you to buy the product in order to watch more!
If it's any good that is. I believe they also have an etherium documentary in the works, so like i said it's a tad of a gamble but if the content is good and drives more sales, it will lead to more even better content, and continue to rise from there.
Once again a coin that holds precievable value (if the show is good).
I think the blockchain community will regadless support the project as well. I know I will!
There are other coins I like as well, but in conclusion I would visit the websites of these coins and decide for yourself! Also use this habit to explore new coins and just in genereal always look for the VALUE in the coin. Value can be relative!

Yes I agree, the more people who own it, the more potential value, but I think a lot of potential lies in if regular people can afford to buy enough of a coin to generate a decent profit if it hopefully does become successful, that's what I mean. Thank you for your input, that is a great point!!

Very good post. Same mindset here. Sell the coins that you know nothing about. Do proper research on any coin you buy. If the market falls at least you can hold your coins knowing they have a long term future.
