Dennis Rodman is a truly colorful character. He is an NBA champion, reality TV star, "cultural diplomat" and unlikely friend to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Today I discovered a recent interview with Rodman on Late Night with Stephen Colbert that is to me really quite surreal.
This clip is about two weeks old, but I found it interesting that Rodman is so blatantly promoting potcoin on mainstream network TV. I would say he is a shill, but he isn't trying to hide anything here. Quite the opposite.
The recent example of John Mcaffee basically blowing up any cryptocurrency he wants to via his twitter feed suggests that anyone with influence can basically manipulate prices (especially of the smaller coins) with just a mention.
It will be interesting to see what other celebrities come out in 2018 in support of different cryptocurrencies. I would guess that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
I would have asked him why he's wearing my mother's sunglasses.
