The emerging blockchain technology sector is flying high right now, with bitcoin flirting with all time highs. Many speculators and blockchain experts believe Bitcoin will continue on its path to exponential growth, and this adoption will benefit many growing and developing cryptocurrency projects going forth. Speculators and investors are looking to make quick returns, and fast life changing money. While ICO’s (initial coin offerings) have been extremely hot, and in many cases extremely profitable, their is one cryptocurrency flying under the radar — and it’s not a new one.
Under development for over 3 years IOC is breaking ground by delivering a full node html user friendly client with data storing capabilities, encrypted user to user message system, and aliases. While this may sound like another gimmick coin with copy paste code, I assure you its not. What makes IOC stand out from the pack is the new upgrade called DIONS (Decentralized Input Output Name Server)which is scheduled fo release in September 2017. Dions does all the features mentioned above directly into hash. The messaging works in the same fashion those familiar with gpg tools, except its pretty much all automated and through the IOC blockchain. Using AES 256 encryption one can instantly have a private conversation with another user, upload files, store documents, transfer documents, decrypt, and encrypt aliases and thats just the beginning.
The I/O digital team is setting up the future groundwork and ecosystem using Dions to build upon. The team is currently preparing for the second addition to the platform called chameleon sometime in 2018 that enables blockchain interoperability. Lot’s of amazing points behind this low profile cryptocurrency project to be excited about.
I actually first learned about IOC a couple years ago when I first began getting heavily into cryptocurrencies. Back then the price was in the dimes and nickels area. This is great to see how far along this project has come. The developers seem dedicated, they have a beautiful wallet, and they have built their own technology without piggybacking on BTC or Ethereum. When I get the chance I plan on throwing some money into IOC. Hopefully sooner than later.
