I have seen people post about the entire marketcap on twitter, which are tradingview charts.
However, I cannot get this to show up on tradingview.
Any hints how to get the market cap into tradingview?

There is no such thing as coinmarketcap on Tradingview. For an example o to https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/steem/#markets
See those exchanges and prices. The ones with * are ignored and the rest are used to calculate coinmarketcap prices. In Tradingview you can choose individual exchanges and get the prices as listed on CMC. But the CMC price itself is more of an average than a real market price.
Hope this helped.
