The ICO landscape needs to adapt to a new reality that is become harder to reach the hard cap. In 2018 we should start seeing real projects with a tangible product from day 1.

It is important to have a tangible product or otherwise you invest in a dream ;)
Given that maybe 1% of the world's population has any money at all in crypto, and the HUGE mainstream media blitz (thanks to the Cboe and CME futures - and of course the huge profits made in 2017), this coming year should be immense for ICOs. I think Wall Street will go crazy and won't be able to get enough. If you have a viable product ready to launch along with the ICO the sky could be the limit.
That said, there is also the very real possibility of increased regulation, although that might not come until the second half of 2018.
The ICO market will adapt and become more mature, in the beginning of 2017 it was the far west.
