I can't verify this article, but it sure sounds like another milestone in cryptocurrency to me, or at least here in the United States. How awesome would it be to not have to go through the excruciating process of bank financing on realestate deals and have "the deal done" in a matter of minutes. Apparently (https://cointelegraph.com/news/first-bitcoin-only-real-estate-transaction-completed-in-texas ) this person purchased a home in Texas by doing that very thing.

The future certainly is looking bright. I work for a bank myself, I dont work for mortgages or loans, but know people who do. When I buy a house, I dont plan to use a bank to finance, instead I'd rather do it through owner's financing at least.
