Introduction
Blockchain is a decentralized general ledger. It is a computer network that has an identical copy of the database and changes its status (records) to a common agreement based on pure mathematics. All this means that there is no need for any central server or any entity we trust (e.g. central bank, notaries, banks, paypal, etc.). The blockchain is the technological basis for all cryptocurrencies, whether Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperledger, etc.
An important part of the blockchain is the smart contracts, a piece of code that is stored in the blockchain network (in each participant's database). It basically defines the conditions to which all parties using the contract agree. Therefore, if the required conditions are met, certain actions are executed. Because the smart contract is stored on all computers on the network, everyone must run it and get the same result. This way users can be sure that the result is correct.
Blockchain and Smart Contracts open many doors to new decentralized businesses and eliminates the need for expensive third parties. Many new companies are now working on this technology, and large companies are testing it in closed networks to collaborate directly with each other without the need for intermediaries. For that reason, there is a lot of projects that are starting to use this new technology. However, not all of them are worth it. We have to read well what each project is dedicated to, what is its whitepaper, its qualified advisors, etc. As I said, blockchain technology has gained popularity due to the hype about cryptocurrencies which has shaken many startups to launch their own cryptocurrencies even without convincing fundamentals. With the conviction that WIRELESS is the future of communications, Horizon Communications (HRZN) will be a provider of high-speed Internet services (ISP), based in Bermuda and that will provide services in the Caribbean, which will use LTE fixed wireless technology to Last mile delivery to end users.

As I said, Horizon Communications (https://www.horizoncomm.co/) is a technology-driven company that will use the next generation of fixed wireless LTE technologies and blockchain to offer its services. The service offer will include Internet speeds of up to 150 Mbps in 2018 and 300 Mbps and faster by the end of 2018/2019.
In the near future, Horizon will be one of the leading ISPs in the world and with the implementation of blockchain technology, also one of the first ISP's to bring the advantages that this cutting-edge technology can bring to our customers.
Goals
The main goal of Horizon Communications is to provide high-speed Internet (150mbps in 2018 and 300mbps in 2019), high-definition cable television and VOIP telephone services in areas where customers currently receive poor, unreliable services at excessive prices. Horizon also has the idea of having an objective methodological growth rate during its first five years of operation in order to guarantee a reliable and high-quality product.
Technology
Horizon will provide a Fixed Wireless Network called Long Term Evolution (LTE), with which you can use your cell phone inside a building with high Internet speeds due to its ability to handle interference or obstructions. LTE is able to take multiple paths back to the tower, join multiple frequency channels and dedicate open channels to specific clients.
The current 4G LTE-Advanced equipment from Horizons will be able to offer speeds of up to 300 Mbps per customer using external antennas and wireless fixed equipment in the customer's premises. In the future, when faster equipment is available in the client's facilities, it will be possible to reach speeds of up to 1 Gbps per client.
