Second, their ICO has you pay them with BTC or ETH, and they "promise" they will pay you back in Karbon. Fishy...
Third, and probably most damning that something fishy is up. Look at their subreddit numbers over time: http://redditmetrics.com/r/KarbonApp - they grow at an insane rate up until a few days after their ICO opens (July 23) and then COMPLETELY level off. Not to mention that the subreddit is extremely inactive for the number of subs it has, and for the fact that the ICO is current ongoing.

Almost every account that is arguing that it is not a scam has an extremely fishy post history. Here is the pattern:
They are not brand new accounts. Many are 6/7 years old, but have been completely inactive for several years.
For whatever reason, about 27 days ago, all of these accounts became active again. And they ONLY post about Karbon... this is the nail in the coffin for me. Just check it out for yourself:
