Fitrova Scam - Still Attempting to Operate

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago (edited)

The Fitrova team has released a statement responding to our previous article which can be found here: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@creatovert/fitrova-scam-investigation-the-saga-reached-it-s-final-confirmation.

The evidence we have raised was not directly addressed with any proof or evidence and they have decided to continue trying to operate and lure in more new investors. The statement notes that fake team members were used but does not admit to the proven identity theft of those fake team members. This was stated as, yes these people we listed are not on the team, but ignores the point that the pictures are stolen, used without permission, and fake names are used. If there was any possible doubt about the website references used for the stolen identities, public social media links have been added to previous article as well.

Attempt to proceed with Fitrova Application

_
Fitrova has insisted that despite the lack of the team used to advertise to investors (which is what led people to contribute the amounts of money they have) they will now move forward on development of their Fitrova mobile application as planned using outsourced labor. There is no doubt that some form of a mobile application could be produced, especially using the funding from the ICO and the additional funds from price manipulation that were exposed in the previous article. The application serves no purpose however without gym partners to use the application at all.

Fitrova now states they have fourteen remaining partnerships, that they are having a hard time holding onto due to our investigation articles. The situation they are presenting is that one man, with no team, no product, no funds, and no technical plans contacted every major gym in United States and Australia and convinced them all to sign up for a new non existent cryptocurrency. Then they all accepted.

Legal Responses

_
The official Crunch Gym verified twitter account has publicly stated they are not associated with Fitrova and their lawyers were working to get their name removed from the Fitrova website. They included a cute gif as well.

“We are in no way shape or form affiliated with this or any other cryptocurrency and are working with our lawyers to get our name removed from their website. No.”

Now that Fitrova has removed the fake team and partnerships from the website it is unclear whether they will continue to pursue legal action. The stolen identity of prominent figure Felix W. has also lead to his company's legal department getting involved.

“Dear ---

On behalf of Mr W., I thank you for your e-mail. His picture was actually used illegally. We have received tips from different sides. Our legal department has taken up the topic.

Best Regards,

Fitrova’s reasons for delisting from Coss.io, Bancor, & Coin Exchange

_
Fitrova has insisted that the delisting from Coss.io and Coin Exchange was their personal decision. We have gathered the response from the Coss.io CEO, and also the Coin Exchange Admin that came to speak with us. Coss.io has delisted of their own accord. Coin Exchange was contacted by the Fitrova CEO, who identified himself also as the developer, but was unable to answer basic questions to their inquiries.

Coss CEO, from official COSS Telegram:

The official statement from Bancor is in line with Fitrova’s reporting of removal due to low liquidity. The time of delisting was interestingly within an hour of us sending our first article to the Bancor support team however.

Binance listing deception and future exchange listings

_
Recently in further attempts at price manipulation Fitrova support has been sharing images of their presence on the Binance Info [https://info.binance.com/currencies/fitrova] website implying that they are to be listed on Binance soon. Binance Info is much like CoinMarketCap, an informational resource of any existing cryptocurrencies that shares their contract information. Binance Info contains over 900+ cryptocurrencies, while the exchange lists less than 200. The two sections are not related in any way. The listing requirements for Binance are extremely steep as has been discussed at length around the web. A new and low volume coin does not have a chance to succeed in this listing. In comparison, NANO a technical project, using its’ own blockchain, with a large following, and a Top 50 cryptocurrency (Fitrova, currently rank ~900) took a tremendous amount of preparation and time to get listed on Binance.

Fitrova does have a pending listing date with CoinSuper. Our investigation group has reached out to CoinSuper with our first article and received an indifferent response. A second contact has been made with our second article and CoinSuper has now leaned to look into it further.

In Fitrova’s latest statement they have also mentioned they are in talks with HitBTC. While it is the investigation groups understanding that support for HitBTC is hard to reach (we’ve been unable to confirm this), we will reach out to them and any other exchange Fitrova attempts to work with as well with our information.

History of False Advertising

_
Previously mentioned in one of our articles is the Fitrova CEO’s other company “TWILX, SEO for Business” [http://twilx.com.au/]. Basic review of this company’s images lead to the same sort of misdirection as Fitrova. It’s been reported that the address for the Brisbane office of TWILX [Level 54/111 Eagle St, Brisbane QLD 4000] has no listing for TWILX on their corporate directory. One is however able to rent mailboxes there for a small amount of money. This is a large building, one of the largest office buildings in Brisbane we have been told. This particular suite has its’ own website as well. [https://www.executivecentre.com/office-space/brisbane-one-one-one-eagle-street/]

A publicly available image of the office can be found online for advertising purposes, on the site where this office is currently for lease.

The same office and even the workers can be found on the Twilx website in this image.

This same address is being used as the Fitrova company address.

Fitrova CEO’s latest personal message to Crypto Scam Investigations

_
The investigation telegram is a place of open discussion and free speech as mentioned in our earlier articles. As such we have no issue welcoming the Fitrova CEO to visit and speak freely as is often the case (often more active in our investigation telegram than the official Fitrova telegram). In line with sharing all information we will provide the CEO’s latest reply to us in our telegram group.

Rude, yet flattering.

Community Efforts

_
While we have done our best to gather information and expose what is happening behind the scenes with Fitrova we need the community’s help for what lies ahead. As many people have lost investments (some of the stories we’ve heard are truly heartbreaking), we need to come together to further pursue justice for the victims. If anyone wants to pursue legal actions and wants the information we’ve gathered we are happy to share it. None of the core members are from Australia, but if anyone local is able to assist with local authorities that would be helpful as well. The publicly available records of Fitrova CEO’s business holdings are included below. Depending on how much effort is put into this, a criminal case and a partial return of funds may be on the table. False advertising, identity theft, misappropriation of funds and price manipulation have all been confirmed.

Everytime the Fitrova cryptocurrency’s price recovers and the longer it is allowed to be actively traded, brings more opportunities for the Fitrova team to sell more Fitrova to uninformed investors.

The Fitrova CEO is fond of poker, and will continue to gamble and bluff for as long as possible.

We have screenshots of the volunteer admins admitting they have been fooled yet they continue to promote and support Fitrova in the official Fitrova telegram. Some Youtubers have voiced their continued support as well.

There is no shame whatsoever and this project needs to be stopped as soon as possible.
