It's great that Atari is getting into blockchain but the Atari Token feels like a cash grab, what possible purpose could the token have that could not already be fulfilled by an existing token?

I can only imagine it being a way to keep currency in house and cut down on having to exchange in house. Ease of use probably if you want to chalk it up to something.
I get that, but I wonder if it will not be more effort to build your own token and get people to adopt it than to just use an existing currency. Something like WAX would probably work well for what they want to do.
You have a good point there though. I might have to do some looking into that and possibly add that on as another article.
