I recentely have read about Localbitcoin finally paid out BCC to their customers holding BTC during the fork of August. They paid out in BTC and announced that they do not support BCC and will probably NOT release New coins after a future fork.
Another new Bitcoin after hardfork sounds not so good for the original version of it.

I think this will be different as the previous intent was to fork just to make a new coin. This is to implement segwit2x. One fork may die quickly
