Ripple has announced two new partnerships in the last 24 hours. XRapid technology is starting to be adopted by more financial institutions. But the question still stands, is a VISA partnership in the cards for XRP's future? VISA just recently announced their plans to launch a system called B2B Connect. A system that sounds quite similar to Ripples.

What if a company like Master Card or Discovery jump on the XRP train, maybe seeing whats Visa is doing might give them more motivation to look into this tech..unless they are developing one as well.
It would be nice to see that, but sadly Capital One and Discover have stated at the moment they want no business with cryptcurrency and have ban any purchases for customers with their cards. Amex have partner with Ripple though :)

It seems like it is struggling to jump out.. OK token but with Visa contesting the Ripple technology with their own... I just wonder how well it will do..
In all honesty I don't like ripple due to how much of the supply the owner has it scares me just to think that one day he could dump some if not all just to get some profit and make the price crash. Aside from that I like the current purpose of the coin and as a day trading it's always a good alternative.
Currently I have 0 XRP for long term hold and 200 XRP for day trading back and forth.

I had the same issue occur to me, but with TRX. Bought at 3 cents and just hold. Now it's back at 6 cents. Hopefully in the next few months it gets back to it's highest price or higher.

With the VISA news, I'm actually optimistic that competition is good for XRP. Eventually I am hoping xRapid proves to be superior and eventually a partnership will happen. All in all I think competition is a good thing when it comes to innovation especially on a grand scale like the financial sphere.
Definitely, competition inspires innovation as each company is trying to one up each other. If we have just one that acts a monopoly we won't see anything interesting.

If visa gets involved I would guess ripple takes a big hit. They have the trust if the average person who doesn't follow cryptocurrency. The sad thing is when the big companies go mainstream with block chain upgrades these projects that have a lot of potential are going to suffer.
