2018 - The year of altcoin millionaires
It's too late to be a Bitcoin millionaire, unless you're already a fiat millionaire! The price per Bitcoin is simply too high for anyone to make life changing profits. This is why I believe 2018 will be the year of altcoins. Don't get me wrong, Bitcoin will still continue to grow, but don't expect to get rich off of it. Here are my top 5 picks for 2018 and beyond.
1. Ethereum
- Newer, faster, cheaper, stronger. Ethereum will eventually be more valuable than Bitcoin. Yes, you heard me correct. Ethereum has so much more to offer to society during this Blockchain revolution than Bitcoin. If you're not invested or mining Ether, you should seriously consider it. This is my #1 pick for 2018 and beyond. Just 30 minutes of researching what Ethereum can do should convince you that the potential is limitless.
2. Monero
- I made a post about Monero being undervalued at $45 a few months ago and now it's at $350. I am a strong believer in what Monero is trying to accomplish: true financial freedom from the tentacles of the IRS and banks. No one can see how much Monero anyone has and no one can trace a Monero transaction. Bitcoin transactions can be traced from the moment you purchased it with your credit card/bank account all the way till the wallet it's stored in. Monero has become the dominant currency in the deep web and for good reason. It is an unstoppable force and I am confident we will see a $1000 Monero very soon.
3. Bitcoin Cash
- People are getting frustrated and fed up by Bitcoin's insane fees and hour-long transaction times and many have made the switch to Bitcoin Cash, including myself. Bitcoin Cash follows the original whitepaper by Satoshi Nakamoto and was created when certain developers didn't like where Bitcoin was headed, which is evident now with these fees and transaction times. Bitcoin Cash offers much faster transactions and only costs pennies to send thousands of dollars. With a same total supply of Bitcoin, this coin is easily undervalued.
4. Litecoin
- Currently trading below $200, Litecoin has already been at $350 and will easily surpass this when the bulls return. Litecoin is a much cheaper and faster way to send money compared to Bitcoin. With 4x the amount of supply as Bitcoin, one can connect the dots and see it's potential growth.
5. Stellar
- Stellar is currently the fastest and cheapest way to send money within the top 10 coins by market cap and will continue to grow exponentially this year and beyond. Many believe Stellar is a better version of the centralized scam known as Ripple. Seriously, stay away from Ripple. It's literally run and manipulated by the banks. Banks are making billions of dollars by manipulating the price of XRP.
