India has seen a humongous growth in the acceptance level of Bitcoin & cryptocurrencies as a whole, in the last year or so. Bangalore, being the IT capital of India (also called the Silicon Valley of the west) is leading the race of cryptocurrency as well in the country.
As per the data shared by Unocoin, one of the biggest Bitcoin exchanges currently functioning in India, there are more than 50 merchants—in and around Bangalore—that are accepting Bitcoins as a legitimate mode of payment for their products and services.
Unocoin's website displays the below merchants, which are accepting Bitcoins in Bangalore.
The list of merchants include "India's largest books mall Sapna", "bus tickets booking site eTravelSmart", "mobile & DTH recharge site Reload", "web hosting solution provider IndSoft & Cyberls" etc.
The count of merchants accepting Bitcoin in India is increasing by the day.
If the pace at which the country has embraced Bitcoin is considered to be a measuring gauge, then the future appears to be extremely bright for Bitcoin & cryptocurrencies in India.
