well at least this way no big whales go in buy it all up gives others a chance to get some but for only a 100$ is not a reasonable investment for anyone with large amounts of money might not want to even bother with 100$ options
I would imagine that the rate the x11 contracts where picked up that users probably have purchased close to the limit of the capacity that genesis-mining had initially planned for. Perhaps they were surprised by the demand for it. Thus i think they are near to their capacity and probably decided to limit the purchases to allow all users to avail of some x11. So i would imagine in a short time the x11 contracts wont be available for another period of time. Just my thoughts on it, could be something else of course.
(1) to be honest, your best bet with Genesis, at the moment, is either the Lifetime SHA-256 (slow but steady) mining or the 2-year X11 contracts. Some have complained that Genesis is slow, but that’s because they’re legit. The legit operations (Genesis, Eobot, etc.) have slower payouts because they’re actually paying out at sustainable levels instead of promising you the moon and shutting down in a few months like HashOcean, BitMinister, and now Coince (site still up but no longer allowing withdrawals) all have.
(2) Any time you purchase hashpower on Genesis Mining, whether you are new to Genesis Mining or have purchased hashpower from them before, you can enter a code at time of purchase and get 3% off with a code AFTER their first purchase (beware, if you try to use a code generated from your own account it will not work!). If you need a 3% OFF code you can use K2PwX5 and get 3% off whenever you join or upgrade your hashpower.
(3) Genesis is currently not offering Pure Ether mining (as of 9/21/2016). If you want to mine Ethereum, Eobot is actually probably your better option for now. (This, too, could change). They actually offer 5-year cloud mining contracts where you can select to mine Ethereum.
This may not need to be said, but I highly recommend using crypto to purchase your contracts/power. Anything purchased with a debit/credit card will have its payouts held for 30 days. Still earning, but will not payout until that time has passed.
I have been mining for about a week and it is slow but steady so patience is the key. Started small with 3.5 TH BTC mining power, 5 MH ETH, 20 MH x11 DASH. Will add more power as funds become available. Hawaii drove out all the exchanges with some bad laws... so mining is the best alternative for me.

I signed up for 15 MH's ETH last month, was losing about 3% per day on the payout, so did my calculations and realized the ROI is not there. Switched to ETC and now losing on average 2% per day. ROI is still not there. You really need people to use your upgrade code to make money. My code is "uEzc9M" is anyone wants to do a swap upgrade
too bad cant even buy over 100$ worth of dash mining anymore its capped.
Wow. Just saw that on Genesis. Very surprising they would do something like that....
